Alliance Partners and Friends of Safe Streets
The Capital Region Vision Zero Alliance was formed from the need to break the increasing incidence of traffic violence on our Capital Region roadways. This is a broad based effort of a growing number of organizations to make our roads safe for people using all modes of transport, of all ages, from all our communities and of all abilities. Our perspectives include public health, public safety, sustainability, urban planning and social justice. We recognize there are tried and true answers to the problems of traffic violence. We need to develop the political will to put those answers in place in the Capital Region.
